A number of our Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora students are involved with a production being held at Burnside High School.

Congratulations to all our students and staff who took part in our Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora LipSync this year.

In the last holidays, Ella Bussey-Timo (Year 13) travelled to Oamaru with the U18 Canterbury Girls’ League team and played against the Otago team.

This past weekend, Cantrices travelled to Timaru to participate and compete at the Big Sing Cadenza and had an amazing time!

During the July school holidays, Millie Sarjeant (Year 12) and Amie Callaghan (Year 11) flew to Sydney, Australia to compete in the National Australian Cadet (Under 17) Championships.

On Thursday last week, the Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Ski and Snowboarding team went to Mt Mutt and competed at the Slalom Canterbury Champs.

The Annual Otago Mathematics Competition attracted over 4,800 students from 117 schools across NZ in 2023.

Earlier this term, 4 year 11 science students travelled to Dunedin to compete in the South Island Brain Bee competition.

The 2023 Senior School Exams will take place in Week 8 of Term 2. The Senior School Exams will start on Thursday 7th of September and conclude on Friday 15th of September.
