Ko te Tamaiti te Pūtake o te Kaupapa: The Child - the Heart of the Matter

Congratulations to the following students who were presented with certificates at Room 5's Assembly last Friday.

These students were noticed by staff, parents or students as displaying our school Values in specific situations.

The Student Council would like our school to support the Salvation Army Can Collection. The Council will hold a class competition to see which class donates the most cans throughout the week. Can collection finishes this Friday.

Congratulations to the students who participated in the ICAS Science competition. Special congratulations to Arielle Dar who received High Distinction - in the top 1% of all participants in New Zealand.

The Ministry of Education is looking at ways to strengthen NZCEA that will benefit all our young people. Have your say!

Following on from last week's teachers strike, our colleagues from the Ministry of Education Learning Support team will be going on strike tomorrow. This small group of professionals includes Psychologists, Speech-Language Therapists, Early Intervention teachers, and other specialist advisors who are critical in the support of our special learners.

We are looking for someone to oversee the organisation of the Second Hand Uniform Shop. Please contact Annette in the office.
