Our first full week of Term 1 completed!

It takes a community and a lot of resources to raise a child. The following briefly explains how our school community is funded and where those funds are used.

The last two weeks have really seen our learning kick off, and we've had a blast launching our theme for this term: hauora!

It has been wonderful to enjoy our first full week of school this week! All of our classes have been busy getting stuck into our learning and establishing routines.

It was a tremendous first visit for Tuakana to Shakespear Regional Park last Tuesday. With Team Building our main objective, and engaging with the environment a high priority, it was wonderful to see how the students supported each other, worked together and seemed to love every minute amongst the beautiful surroundings.

‘Thinking Caps for Kids’ are offering special programmes supporting the development of literacy skills which can be accessed during school time, at school, on a cost basis. As a result of our confidence in Thinking Caps for Kids, we are prepared to allow children to be released from class to take part in this programme.

Our Classes are suitable for students 3years to adults. Classes include Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Commercial, Singing, Guitar, Acting and of course Musical Theatre. We teach social classes, examination work have performance opportunities and competitions work. Join our studio and be inspired by trained and passionate teachers.

Community feedback has been listened to and we are trialing a new digital publishing software.
