It was been an incredible term, and it is hard to believe just how much we have managed to fit in! First, there were our Shakespear Trips, and the building of our Tuakana team spirit. Then we had our class names, where we focused on team spirit within the classroom, built around the naming of the classes around mythical creatures, from the Griffin to the Phoenix, they were all in there!

What a fabulous term we have had in Teina! After a rocky start to the year, we have bounced back and the children have settled into life in the Teina Whānau. We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and a safe and enjoyable holiday. Next term, we are looking forward to our Year 4 Camps.

The tamariki have finished on a high with a wonderful trip to Okoromai and lots of progress seen across the whole team! Well done to all our ākonga on a brilliant start to 2023.

We have a new addition to our senior playground being installed over the Easter holidays.

This Term GHS was delighted to welcome back international students to our school and community. For the month of February our Year 5 and 6 classes hosted a group of 7 students from South Korea, and just last week saw Room 18 have a young Japanese student join them for 5 days.
