Ethnic communities see Hagley as their place, which was clear over three days when Hagley acted as a welfare centre for those impacted by the 15 March terrorism attacks.

Hagley's ongoing commitment to celebrate diversity and to embrace all ethnic communities has been further reaffirmed as the Board of Trustees gives its commitment to establish a multicultural hub on the school site.

Hagley College attended the Canterbury Secondary Schools Waka Ama Championships on Saturday 9th March at Lake Roto Kohatu.

We were very proud to support a small group of students who travelled independently to Nelson for the South Island Secondary Schools Athletics Meeting, March 29-31.

Hagley Preschool is the recipient of a mural which was created on the children’s TV show "What Now" on Sunday March 24th.

Bernie is a dedicated Mathematics Kaiako here at the College and is teacher in charge of NCEA assessments in the department.

Our new programme of Senior Wellbeing Modules is well underway, with the first block of modules ending this week, and students in the midst of reflecting on their first options and selecting the modules they will begin at the start of term two.

We went to Kaikōura with a small group of students for a ‘boost’ camp from March 31st - April 1st.
