Gazette: New Bonus Publication Style

Did you know that Hail is a great service for Communities of Learning

We don't sit still at Hail and when we saw schools joining Communities of Learning (COL) we decided to add a new feature in Hail to help.

We heard from schools that  COL members want to work together and share information between the participating schools. So this is what we have built in Hail — a feature called Trusted Connections.  This allows any school in the COL to share their Hail content to others across the partnership.

This is how it works:

  • We do a free set up for you. This includes creating a COL website for you in Hail. We also created the trusted connections across all members for free!
  • In each participating school will now have a new connection in their Hail setup listing the COL.
  • Now, every school can then publish articles to the COL just like you do when publishing to Facebook and to your own school website.

Easy as. In a single click, you can update the COL website with the latest news and vice-versa any COL information can be shared across the contributing schools.

Of course, the only catch is that all members of the COL need to be Hail customers. All our plans include this feature so any school that hasn't joined will have to join up to access this feature.  :-)

But there is more,  you can also share the same articles to the schools directly through the same process.  The Waimairi-iri COL has one of the first to use this feature with these schools participating.
