Our Kapa Haka will be performing on Friday 13 September in the Tuhono Festival at Cowles Stadium.

At the end of Term 2 and the start of Term 3, we had multiple Year 5-8 students compete in our Zone Winter Tournament in rugby, netball, football and hockey. A huge congratulations to all students that competed for demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork on the day. A big thank you to all the parents and teachers that coached and supported our teams. We really appreciate you!

20 of our Year 7/8 students competed in the Canterbury Indoor Tournament last week. They showed enthusiasm for learning a new sport and great sportsmanship. A big thank you to Miss Eastwick and Miss Bush who coached our teams.

Halswell School is part of an initiative with the Christchurch City Council to help children in our community participate in sport.

Ticket books ready to sell Friday 9 August - $2 per ticket

Friday 13th of September is our Halswell School Sport Day! Come down and watch your child get involved in a range of fun sporting activities.

We are holding a Stationery Drive to help the children in Vanuatu.
