Heaton Students Awarded in IWANZ Writing Competition

Congratulations to Room 5 student Vili, who received a Highly Commended certificate for his essay 'Running for Ora'. His was one of just 14 Highly Commended entries. Also, congratulations to Room 2 student Eddie, who received a Commended award for 'Not Just Shooting Hoops", one of 40 commended awards across the country.

Al-Noor Mosque

On Friday 27th November four Heaton Students went to the Mosque to present Garden memorial decorations that had been made in our Art Room.These were presented by Vili to the President of the Mosque, Mohammed Jama. We were also welcomed to the Al Noor Mosque by Murray Stirling, the Treasurer and Tooba Habib, the Women's Coordinator.
