Waka Update

Visit this articleWelcome to our second newsletter of the Term. We enjoyed meeting lots of parents at Huakina Mai, which seems a long time ago now. We are well into our 'arts' focus and we are starting to see artworks produced by the students popping up around the school. Next term we will 'exhibit' our art. The students will be excited to share this with you.
We take this opportunity to inform you that Term 2 will start on the day after ANZAC day - Wednesday 26th of April. This is because all schools in NZ have been given a day to be taken in the first two weeks of next term for professional development for Te Mātaiaho. (The Refreshed NZ Curriculum)
On Monday 24th April all staff from our South Rangitīkei schools will spend the day learning about the new curriculum.
This is yet another reminder about uniforms that we need returned.
