Dear Parents and Caregivers, It is with a great deal of sadness that I write my final newsletter as your Principal.

It has been a busy and demanding start to the year at Kaiapoi High School.

Congratulations to the students that have been excelling in their sport outside of school.

This year we had an increase in the number of girls wanting to take up Dragon Boating, from Year 9 to Year 13 students.

At the start of the school year we had a lot of question marks around what sport would look like this term and thankfully, with a positive approach from everyone involved, we were able to move forward with school sport.

It has been a busy start to the year in the Dance Department.
