King’s was alive with colour, food trucks and musical performances, for our first Cultural Festival

King's and Queen's High School combined Choir Polyhymnia performed in the Timaru Basilica South Island 2022 Cadenza Competition last weekend taking out the Silver.

The team of eight King's High senior Drama students performed scenes from the NZ play Shuriken by Vincent O'Sullivan.

Coping with difficulty or adversity and learning from it.

Year 7 and 8 students got the opportunity to learn and practice Rugby skills with King's 1st XV Coaches Mr Gregg, El Rouvi, Ryan Griffith, and Highlanders Talent Development Manager Kane Jury last Friday.

Note that some courses at Otago University require a unique application, and have an earlier closing date than general applications.

Please be aware that on Friday 26th August our school will be closed for instruction due to our staff being involved in the NCEA Training Day scheduled by the Ministry of Education.

Steph Kerslake from Otago Polytechnic will be in the school Library on Tuesday 23rd August to assist students with their applications for Otago Polytechnic for 2023.

School Liaison Officer Greg Heller from the University of Otago will be at a Course Assistance Day starting in the PAC at 8.45am on Wednesday 24th August.
