A major highlight of the year is the ceremony awarding Otago Daily Times Class Act recipients. 

 Andrew Derks in Year 9 and George Bates in Year 10 were recognised at Friday’s assembly for being the top Year 9 and 10 student respectively for Weekly Notes results. 

It's been a busy time for the International Department. This time of year sees the International department saying farewell to some old faces and welcoming some new ones.

The Year 12 Biology class used M & M's to model Genetic Drift, Founder Effect and the Bottleneck Effect. 

Lester Stevenson was called in at the last minute to join a team competing at the Otago Southland Small Bore Rifle Competition last weekend, and helped his team to reach first place. 

In February, we ran an article on Elliot Brown who won the “President’s Scholarship Award” at the New Zealand Surfing Competition. 

NZQA Fees are now overdue. The price is $76.70 and $30 for each Scholarship subject, or $20 with Financial Assistance for families on low income or a benefit. Collect Financial Assistance forms from the Office. If this fee is not paid, NZQA will not issue your NCEA qualification sheet!
