Principal's message
Our Year 7/8 students had their 'Survivor Day' last Thursday. Students were asked to prepare, organise and survive the day out on the field. They did just that! Lots of fun was had, in the process! Thank you to our staff and parents for supporting the children to make this event such a wonderful success!
The Year 5-8 Swimming Sports were all go on Friday, despite the weather, this did not deter our students from enjoying their time in the pool and achieving some wonderful results.
On Monday evening we had our first PTA meeting for the year. It was a great turn out and lots of new, fun ideas, were shared. Thank you to those who attended. I look forward to seeing you at the next meeting and working with you, so that we can provide more for our children.
On Thursday 22 February a group of our students will attend the Avonhead Memorial Cemetery – Earthquake Memorial. We have performed at this special event for many years. If you would like to join us please do. The small service begins at 12.10pm.
Our thoughts are once again with everyone affected by the Port Hills Fire. Stay safe everyone!
