Week 6 ... We are over halfway through Term 2 already!  It will be a big week this coming week (Week 7) with ERO visiting, and finishing off with our Comedy Night of the Year on Friday night.

The Mt. Pleasant Heat basketball side, playing in the Cowles Stadium Year 7/ 8 competition, had begun this year’s campaign with two solid wins. 

A couple of weeks back, we had a number of runners represent MPS at the SE Zones Cross Country, which was held down the hill at Ferrymead Park. 

Team Magma have been going to gymnastics each Friday for the last six weeks.

Team Take Off have been attending the Christchurch School of Gymnastics. 

As part of an art focus during our inquiry on How the World Works, Room 6 watched some clips on Gravity Glue by a very talented artist named Michael Grab.

On June 6, 2017, Mt. Pleasant School began what will hopefully become a storied history of engineering excellence as it competed in the EPro8 Challenge series.

Room 3 have written stories to describe autumn leaves. Then we explored leaf rubbings and drew shapes of leaves using different patterns and lines.

We are excited to be taking part in ‘Wig Wednesday’ on Wednesday 21st June and fundraising for Kiwi kids with cancer.
