The  Koru Games was held last week from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 September. Oaklands school was represented by 9 teams across 4 sports. 

The term has had many cultural and sporting successes. I hope you have enjoyed reading about our students achievements in our school newsletters.

The Board will be providing updates to the Oaklands community at the end of each Term. This is a new initiative and the Board welcomes your feedback.

Community engagement on future primary provision for Halswell:  This is an opportunity for us to share what we want  the future for Oaklands School to be.   Please complete this survey.

We have been learning to use the correct voice for the Action Station we are working on.

Ryan Pringle and Jonathan Jun are going places in the world of basketball. 

Last week the Year 7&8s took part in the Koru Games tournament. One of our sports was volleyball.

Today we celebrate the very talented Laing family, with Madeline and Samantha both receiving netball awards.

Today we celebrate the achievements of Annabel Keylard and Caitlyn Stewart from Room 6.

Congratulation Rimu! You have won the House Competition for this term. Your reward for winning the House Competition is a free mufti day, this Friday, 23 September. Wear one piece of green clothing to show the other houses how proud you are of winning! Good luck for next term Rimu.

Any child leaving or arriving at school between 9am and 3pm must be signed out at the office.

We have itinerant music teachers who come into our school each week and offer music lessons.

The purpose of our complaints policy is to provide clear guidelines for the school community in raising and resolving concerns and complaints.
