The website promotes the wide variety of opportunities available to students and also provides a platform to showcase and archive student work.

In recent weeks my focus has been on international education. I arrived back in New Zealand on Sunday after two weeks spent in three different countries.

The PTSA are now selling tickets to this special PTSA Fortune Theatre production of One Perfect Moment. 

Over the past few weeks the Enviroschools group have been busy in the greenhouse potting up Kowhai and other native species of plant.

The Otago Secondary Schools' Music Festival Society are proud to present the 48th annual Otago Music Festival.

A huge congratulations to the following students for their success in the recent "Celebrate" Design Awards and "Celebrate" Art Awards run by the Otago Polytechnic School of Design and School of Art to celebrate and reward the highest achieving creative students from Otago's Secondary Schools.

Next Friday 15 September, Rose Stevenson, Sarah de Vries and Malina Rutt will perform in the Dunedin Youth Orchestra at the Underground Market from 9pm. This is a free event . 

For many of our senior Pasifika students finishing internal assessments and preparing for external NCEA examinations is their primary focus for the coming months.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Art Department at "Portfolio" our Senior Art Exhibition recently.

In Week 6 of Term Three, sixty one English language learners did the Speech New Zealand English for Speakers of Other Languages Oral Examinations.

Congratulations to these students for displaying the school values. 

 Please get along and support Pacific Pearls and Wairua Puhou from Otago Girls' High School at this year's Otago Polyfest. Our groups will be performing in Session 5, Thursday 14 September. Performance times attached.

Grace Hurring and Sarah Ford represented Otago Girls' High School in the Southern Schools' Cycling Tour in Marlborough 2-3 September. 

CCL, Computer Concepts Limited, have kindly donated 20 tickets to sell to next Saturday's Otago rugby clash with Tasman at Forsyth Barr Stadium. 

Theatresports is a fun and challenging form of improvisational theatre, which uses the format of a competition for dramatic effect.

A highlight of our students’ outdoor education experience is the Year 10 Camp, which will be held in Week 8 of Term 4, running from 4 to 8 December inclusive. 

Otago Girls’ High School awards Sporting Blues to recognise outstanding achievement and participation. Criteria for an award of a Sports Blue are determined by individual sporting codes with the Board of Trustees approval. All awards are at the discretion of the Blues Committee.
