Our agriculture students have grown these beautiful flowers in hanging baskets. These are to be sold with all proceeds going to our Easter Fair. Only $20 and available for pickup now!

The Opihi College Agriculture class have visited Rowdy Aitken's farm as part of their class to explore his 20-25 t per hectare maize crop recently.

The Opihi College 2024 Swimming Sports were held at the Temuka Swimming Pool in February with hot sunny weather, a great pool and blistering swim times - a total of 15 new records set in the competitions this year!

The Country High School Athletics were held in Geraldine on 6 March. Around 20 of our students competed on the day. Fantastic achievement for all of our students with some wonderful results special thanks to Miss Henderson, Mrs McNoe, Samantha and Chloe for helping make this day a success.

Alana Peck from the New Zealand Rare Diseases organisation was excited to visit Opihi College to personally thank our head students, Hazel and Coby, for their organisation of our recent mufti day. Well done Hazel and Coby, and thank you to all who supported this fundraiser!

We had a day full of energy and team spirit! We celebrated athleticism and fun at Athletics Day 2024! We cheered on our classmates to make unforgettable memories together.

This wonderful group of students are our Voice of Rangatahi here at Opihi College: Tayne, George, Lachlan, Tama, Regan, Bridie and Cochise.
Well done to Owen, Ella, Kahurangi and Cullum who have been awarded a New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Skills at assembly this week.

Well done to all our Year 7 & 8 students who entered posters in the Winchester Show. The posters of students who earned a place are attached. Special mention to Bailey Snowdon who won the Best in Show cup 🏆
Just a note of thank you to all who donated plants and materials for our agriculture area. The trees are starting to bear fruit in this project.
