It was lovely to see so many of you at our Meet the Teacher sessions.

This month we are farewelling some staff and welcoming new staff to OVS.

We are holding a Family Picnic this Friday 8th March 5.30pm - 7.00pm. This is a fun evening where families can come along to school, enjoy some dinner together and meet other families. This is something the PTP (Parent Teacher Partnership) helps to organise.

The children are loving being out on the court and field all together now that we all have the same break times

Reading, Writing, & Maths

This week your child’s Profile Sheet will be sent home. This lists your contact information and your child’s medical details. We ask that these be checked, signed, and returned to school as soon as possible so that we can ensure the information we have on file is current.

Last week Rachel Searson Photography spent three days in our school photographing our students individually, with their siblings, and in their classes.

Unfortunately, there is no update on the basketball court outside Te Hononga.

School is closed on Thursday 28th March for a Teacher Only Day.

This is a question we are often asked by parents. Our school uses Linewize, which is a safety hub that alerts us if children in Years 4-6 are trying to access inappropriate content when logging in using their school login details.
