Week 12, Term 2

Oxford Area School and whānau have raised $5,744.81 towards supporting families with a loved one with leukaemia and blood cancer.

Oxford Area School will be celebrating Matariki in Weeks 1 and 2 of Term 3.

Year 1-6 students have been receiving Haepapa Kāri (Responsible Cards).

During the lockdown period, Oxford Area School was pleased to be able to support families with provision of school devices.

Our mufti day this term was supporting Shave for a Cure. We are pleased to say it brought in over $500 towards the cause.

Congratulations to the following "Students of the Week", which is awarded to the Year 9 and 10 students who consistently demonstrate our school values.

Over the last three weeks, learning mentor groups have been busy making Tik Toks as a way of demonstrating our term value Kia haepapa, Be Responsible.

School holidays are upon us. This is a good time to check school uniforms to ensure that students are ready to start back in Term 3 with the correct uniform items.

Term 3 sees the return of our Library Bears, as will lego and other games to play with in our warm and dry library.

Welcome to the first OXPO for 2020. This year sees a very different style of OXPO. Students completed work in Term One but, due to COVID-19 Lockdown, our OXPO became digital.
