Welcome back to our families and a special welcome to new whānau starting with us this term.
We have a number of exciting events and happenings planned and already confirmed for this term. I have put the confirmed events in one article for easy reference, and will keep it as a separate article on our website too. We hope to see as many of you as possible at some of these events, but always thank you for your support.
Reminder also of your invitation to book a time for you and your child to share the first half year learning and goals with their class teacher at our Ako ngātahi learn ing conferences. I encourage you to book a time so that you can celebrate the learning together. See the article for how to do this. Wednesday and Thursday this week, school finishes at 2:00pm. Thank you for your support.
Today, we had a very busy school site, with the Kidsfest Market day happening. This has been a regular feature of the Kidsfest programme for a number of years, and is very popular. It was great to see our band entertaining the crowd and getting great reviews from the spectators. Our Jump Jam crew also entertained the crowd and shows that the practise is really worth it.
Congratulations to all those involved and many thanks to the fundraising team who put in the work to make it such a successful time.
You are invited to help welcome our new families (including our new entrants from the middle of the term) at our Mihi Whakatau at 9:15am on Monday morning. This will be in the hall.
Keep smiling
Shane
