The government has now introduced regulations that require schools to ensure students do not use or access a phone while they are attending school. This includes students who are on a school trip. This regulation is designed to ensure that the learning of all students is maximised, while minimising any potential for distraction and cyber-bullying.

Once again we start the year with an amazing group of teachers.

You will shortly receive a statement from the school for the Annual Donation, Design Production Education Donation, and the Education Perfect fee.

After over four years of exceptional service to Rāroa, Alan is off to pursue new opportunities.

Wednesday 31st of January was our transition day for new students and students who wanted to meet their 2024 teaching team, their learning environment and their teacher.

To begin this year we wanted to invest time in building relationships with our students, as well as model, encourage, guide and assist students to ASPIRE in our playground and learning environments. So, for the first three days of school ALL teachers were present in our playgrounds at lunch time. Involved in games, catching up with last years students, getting to know students, hanging out, entertaining and enjoying our awesome environment. The tone in the playground has been extremely positive.

Rāroa uses Hero as our communications platform for allowing teachers, students, and families to view and share content anytime, anywhere on any device. The software is secure & easy to use.

There are different ways to communicate an absence from school.

We want to provide the best possible education for your children. We can do this most effectively when the school and home work together.

The school entrance before and after school becomes dangerously congested when parents drop off or collect their children. Please help us with this by arranging to collect your children at Rāroa Park.
