3X3 kids Basketball League

Kia ora,

We're running a new 3X3 kids basketball league for Term 4.

3X3 is the largest urban team sport in the world. It's a simple, fast version of 5-ON-5, designed to help kids develop their skills and decision-making.

Kids have more room to move, and more opportunities to touch the ball and score = more fun!

Anyone can enter this league - schools, clubs or a group of friends. We can even find a team if you don't have one.

3X3

• $180 per team
• 8-week season (25 Oct to 16 Dec)
• Games are played on a half court
• 5 players per team (3 on court + 2 subs)
• 10-minute games with no halftime
• Teams play two games per day back-to-back
• The first team to score 11 points wins, or whoever has the most points when time is up
• The referee keeps the score, so no score bench is required
• No coaches on court

• We'll be on hand to explain the rules and help the kids play each week
