Kingsley McGuigan

Year 6 student, Kingsley McGuigan, competed at the North Island School's track Cycling Championships in Cambridge during the school holidays.He competed in a series of races, including a Scratch Race, Two Derby Races and a Tempo Points Race. Points were accumulated over the series of events to decide placings.Kingsley came 2nd place in the U13 Grade, winning the Silver Medal. An incredible effort, considering he is only 10. This is the first time Kingsley has raced on a World Class Indoor Velodrome and during the morning before racing, he had to undergo assessment and accreditation to decide if he was suitable to race. Congratulations Kingsley, we're all very proud of you!
