Youth Band - with David Codd

Wellington Symphonic Bands is thrilled to invite students and beginner players to our Youth Band. This ensemble is intended to help young players experience playing as part of a large wind group for the first time and help them to develop musically in a fun, social environment. We're primarily aiming for students of
Year 6-10, but everyone who would benefit from the experience is welcome!

Rehearsals will be held during term time from 5-6pm on Wednesdays in the Wellington College library, beginning on March 1. We ask for a small subscription fee of $20 for this term to help cover tuition and music printing.

Our Musical Director is David Codd, who comes to us with tertiary degrees in Classical Piano and French horn as well as a wealth of conducting experience, jokes and icebreakers.
