Visit this articleKia ora e te whānau,
Looking through this week’s newsletter, I feel a real sense of pride in our school. We have such an amazing community here and a whānau feeling that extends to anyone who walks in the gates. So many people sought me out to tell me this at our recent Grandparents' Day. This was a really proud moment for me as a principal - wonderful positive feedback, with numerous comments about our amazing students and the feeling people experienced while being here.
On that note, Grandparents’ Day was a real hit here at school. The students were so excited leading up to it and had a blast showing off their classroom and school. It really illustrated the special place Grandparents and significant adults have in the lives of our students. I would like to take this chance to thank everyone who came and in particular those that travelled far distances. We were all blown away by the turn out and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
I hope that you enjoy reading through this Newsletter and seeing some of the amazing learning opportunities that have been going on at kura. This is truely a great place to be.
Nga mihi nui,
Michael Harrop
Principal
