The excitement and preparation for House Day is a buzz around the school as the House Prefects and their Year 13 teams organise all members of each House for their House Plays, sports and cultural events.

How lucky are we that we have so much sport to watch at the moment and not just at St Margaret's. After the events of last year, everyone is soaking up all the opportunities offered to them to get to games and support their favourite teams across the country.

We are very young when we first start working with other people in a team or group scenario – playing games with friends in the playground and working with peers on school projects. We don't even consider how we interact with our team members and peers at this young age, we simply let our natural behaviours lead our interactions.

Henrietta Williamson and Harriet Gough (Y4) were on the Tactix team bench last week cheering on the team. The girls were part of the coin toss and were interviewed on court pre-match. They then had a fabulous time courtside watching the Tactix pull off their nail-biting win in extra time by 1 goal. A highlight for the girls was catching up with Mrs Seymour after the match and getting lots of players autographs.

The planned community planting this Sunday at our Beacon Street Wetlands revegetation project has been postponed due to the weather.
