If you ever needed evidence of the character and culture of St Margaret’s College, the events of the past fortnight have surely illuminated the values of our school, the professionalism of our staff, and the strength of our community.

As this week’s newsletter goes out many of our SMC girls are away on tournament all across the country. From Picton to Palmerston North, Karapiro to Christchurch, they are competing against other schools from around New Zealand. As results so far have come in, they have been included in this newsletter.

We Are One will be our tribute concert dedicated to the victims and families of the terror attacks: Thursday, April 4th in the Charles Luney Auditorium, all welcome.

I had to double check my calendar when I realised we are heading towards our final week of Term One. As ever it has been a whirlwind and we have been involved with multiple events this term.

One of our families nannies (Lorraine) has been working in the makeshift pop up creche at Hagley Community College supporting the families and friends of those visiting injured loved ones at Christchurch hospital.
