About our School
September 25, 2024
At our school, we pride ourselves on being a vibrant Year 1-8 learning community where every student’s unique background is celebrated. Our diverse environment enriches the educational experience, allowing children to learn from one another and develop a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. We are fortunate to be able to offer learning programmes in Māori, Samoan and English medium. We boast endless opportunities school wide to participate in kapa haka, pasifika performance groups, musical instrument lessons, choir, band, art, a multitude of sports and many other opportunities for students to extend their learning beyond the core curriculum.
Our commitment to personalising learning programmes so all students are able to achieve their personal best is rooted in our focus on core skills. These Core Skills intertwined with our Vision, Values and Learning Areas form our school curriculum and combined provide the strong foundation for our community to have a successful learning journey. Through a variety of engaging projects and hands-on activities, students are inspired to explore, innovate and collaborate with their peers as they traverse their next learning challenge.
As we continue to develop and evolve responsive learning programmes, we invite you to join us in celebrating the incredible diversity of our community. We believe that by embracing our differences, we can cultivate a rich learning environment where every student can enjoy their time at school and celebrate personal success.
Whether you’re a current student, a prospective family, or a member of the community, we look forward to opportunities to welcome you to our kura. Together, let’s inspire a love of learning and foster a spirit of unity and respect for all.
