An exciting term for our learners with a 'Water' theme running across the Project Based Learning time in all Syndicates.

With a school-wide focus on 'Water' this term, the Middle Syndicate children were challenged to create a 'Water Pipeline' that would transfer water from one water tank to another.

In Room 7 we have been working on creating tension in a story by using descriptive language and different sentence starters. Hopefully we give you some goosebumps with our writing!

There was lots to do in the garden today, getting ready for winter.

Earlier this week some Year 7 students from Balmacewen Intermediate came and visited the Junior Hubs.

If you have any old plastic bottles, containers, old funnels, plastic tubing, PVC pipes etc. that you no longer require we would be delighted to put them to good use creating our Junior water wall.

The Junior Hub, had fun creating Water Wheels as part of our ongoing unit about water, and the effect it has on our environment.
