The students running the Christchurch Car Show as part of the Year 12 Business Studies Course have added up their sales and have made $8,300 from running their event.

It was a thrill to welcome back the 2008 Deputy Senior Monitor, Chris Parker, to an assembly on September 9th. Chris is now based in Auckland where he is an actor, writer and comedian. Exciting building work is planned for Christchurch Boys' High School over the next 28 months.

As we reflect on the end of the winter sport season, it is important that we bear in mind the purpose of sport.

The school trapshooting team has attended a series of competitions at various locations over the season and our shooters have consistently placed in each event at the Canterbury Schools shoots.

The PTA helped to welcome next year's Year 9 parents to the school on October 25th at an information evening with tea and coffee served by the PTA.

60+ Year Old Boys are invited to the Annual Luncheon for Old Boys who started in 1958.
