This week on Wednesday we held our Charities assembly.

The Christchurch Girls High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora Maadi squad went away to Twizel on Thursday the 14th of March.

Volleyball is the second highest participation sport in the world and the second most played sport by girls in New Zealand.

Christchurch Girls' High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora will be closed on Good Friday, 29 March, Easter Monday, 1 April and Tuesday 2 April.

The Senior A water polo team played in Ōtautahi as part of the South Island tournament last week.

On the 16th and 17th of March the Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Senior Super Touch team took part in the South Island Secondary Schools’ Touch tournament at Sheldon Park, Belfast.

Next week, parents and whānau of our Year 9 and 10 students are invited into our kura to meet with their child's subject teachers.

It is with great sadness that I acknowledge the recent passing of Patsy Baldwin, Ex - English and Drama teacher and a stalwart of our teaching staff of Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora.
