On Wednesday 1 November we celebrated the many and notable achievements of our 2023 Senior School students.

A final chance to celebrate and farewell both our leaving students and whanaus.

Next Friday we will be holding an Orientation Day for our 2024 Year 7 and Year 9 students

Jeila reaches heights!

On Friday the 27th, the rowing squad traveled up to Twizel for the first regatta of the season, Aoraki Club Regatta.

Last week, 24 Year 5 and 6 students participated in the annual Ukulele Jam held at George Street Normal School, along with students from 11 other Dunedin schools.

On Wednesday, the Year 6 class organised and ran a Bake Sale to raise money for Presbyterian Support.

The Caledonian was a buzz of activity on Tuesday 7th November as 40 students across the Junior and Middle school attended the North Zone Athletics championships. With all vying for a place in the Otago Athletics Champs later this month, the competition was tough, and our Columba students competed exceptionally well!

One of our Year 7 Columba College Students represented the Alexandra Flames Ice Hockey Team, participating in a One Hockey Tournament in Australia. A fantastic experience for a young group of talented ice hockey players!

This year we have made a big effort to update and expand the non-fiction books in the junior area of the library.
