Tuesday 10th May. The aim of our trip was to learn about the Creation pūrākau and to study the artwork 'Kākano Puananī' – 'Airborne Seeds'. Our research will help us to design our own ceramic artwork based on the creation pūtākau. The name 'Kākano Puananī' is intended to be inclusive. Our ancestors or even ourselves are all seeds that have travelled to New Zealand.
