Special thanks to TECT and The Lion Foundation for their support with our recent grant applications. TECT have provided funding of $36,242 for the purchase of IT/AV equipment and to assist with the upgrading of our security system. The Lion Foundation has allowed us to purchase 60 Chrome Books, cases and licences, along with 2 charge and sync cards, with their generous funding of $15,000. Thank you!

Debating takes off!

On Saturday March 3, for the first time in at least ten years, seven Katikati College senior students represented our College in senior debating at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Regional Debate Finals. Kitted out in blazers and ties they drove in to Tauranga Boys' College to face off against the best debaters from almost all the secondary schools in the wider Bay of Plenty.
