The King's High School 2022 Prizegiving celebrated student excellence and achievements.

The Sports Awards were held in November with Guest of Honour, Old Boy, Jordan Ward.

This year's Cultural Blues Prizegiving honoured one of King’s largest groups of young men across the Arts.

King’s was alive with colour, food trucks and musical performances, for our first Cultural Festival

In September we had the opportunity to celebrate the 65th Birthday of Mr Grant Koedyk.

Congratulations went out to Year 12 student, Dylan Pledger in October who was selected for the NZ Schools Team and played against Fiji U18's Team.

Guests of Honour were Otago Basketballer Josh Aitcheson (2012-2016), ex Black Cap and Coach Warren Lees (1965-1969) and Former International Cricketer Nathan McCullum (1994-1998).

The 2022 King's High School Wall of Fame welcomed five inspirational leaders.

The Otago Nuggets and Taranaki Airs played their NBL competition game in July with some local flair.
