Our International Food Festival in the last week of Term 3 was a delicious highlight.

Congratulations to Alice Houston-Page and Cameron Monteath who are our 2019 Class Act recipients. Both students and their parents enjoyed meeting with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in September where they were presented with their awards.

Our Climate Strike leaders organised another big city-wide strike at the end of September.

We celebrated te wiki o te reo Maori (or Maori Language Week) in September. The theme was "Kia kaha te reo Maori." Let's make the Maori language strong.

Our whole school Blues and Honours Assembly was held in September.

Our kapa haka group Te kapua o te Raki performed as part of Polyfest in September.

Our annual Talent Quest showcased some exciting talents.

On a chilly spring day in September two Logan Park teams headed out for a day of adventure racing.

During Term Three, four of our students won places in poetry writing competitions, one regional, and two national.

Week 8 of Term Three was Conservation Week; in fact it is its 50th anniversary.

Our Year 12 PE skiing/snowboarding trip took place at the Remarkables ski field in September.

Congratulations to our Park Players drama team and their playwright and director, Diane Dupres who competed in the South Island and National Theatre Fest competition in September.

We were featured this year in a short video on schools converting to wood pellets. We converted to wood pellets in 2008.

Congratulations to Lealia Devereux who won the Dunedin wide Chinese Garden essay competition in September.

Our Board of Trustees has been working with the Ministry of Education to introduce an enrolment scheme for 2020. All enrolments already received have been accepted for 2020.

In September 9H went to participate in the Shark Spy programme run by the Marine Science Department using their vessel the Polaris out of the Marine Studies Centre at Portobello.

Emily Hutton won the school prize at the Otago Art Teachers Celebrate Show for 2019.

In September our builders and architects started work on several new buildings.

During senior exam week in Term 3 some of the international students went on excursions to the Catlins and to Orokonui Ecosanctuary.

The library had a very busy Term Three.

This year we were lucky to host the boys football Linwood tournament here in Dunedin.

As part of their Careers Pathway course Crystal Hooper and Sophie Black decided to fundraise for Life Matters, Suicide Prevention foundation.

In Term Three, the Learning and Support Class had the opportunity to participate in the Otago All Abilities Sports Day and Expo held at the Forsyth Barr Stadium.

It's always sad to see them go.

Year 12 Physical Education students had the privilege of working with the North East Valley Normal School (NEV) kids again this year as part of our curriculum.

The Girls 1st XI Football team travelled to Invercargill for the Lotto Girls Football tournament in September.

Congratulations to our Charities Club for their successful fundraising venture in Term Three.

The sporting event for Youth week was Interhouse Multisport.

During Term Three, we held the finals of the another successful Interhouse competition.

In September Helen Reid and Andrea McSweeney accompanied eight students to the Otago Polytechnic Dessert Evening.
