Swimming Weeks at Auahiroa

Our swimming programme is well underway! This year, we are swimming at a new venue—Matatiki Pools in Hornby. Our tamariki began their Swim Safety lessons this week and will continue every day next week (Week 11).

These lessons are a great opportunity for students to build confidence in the water, refine their swimming techniques, and develop essential water safety skills.

It’s been fantastic to see the enthusiasm and effort from our students as they challenge themselves in the water. Whether it’s perfecting their strokes, practicing floating techniques, or learning how to stay safe in different water conditions, these lessons are equipping them with valuable lifelong skills.

We’re looking forward to another great week of swimming ahead!

Values Leaders Proudly Receive Their T-Shirts

At our whole school assembly last Friday, this year’s Values Leaders were proudly presented with their official t-shirts. These special shirts symbolise their important role in leading by example and upholding our school's values.

We hope our Values Leaders wear their t-shirts with pride each day, reminding their peers of the responsibility and commitment they have taken on. We look forward to seeing them inspire and support our school community throughout the year!
