Last week Room 19 visited the worm farm at the Eco Station to follow up on our learning around animal habitats. We have been specifically focusing on how worms are suited to their habitat and how we can protect them.

Board of Trustees Election Update - Welcome to our new Board of Trustees.

On Monday 20 June Hannah Hanson, our 2016 Head Girl, presented the following speech at whole school assembly to launch her anti-bullying initiative.

From 2 - 6pm on 27 and 28 June the Music Room will be open for you to come and find out more about the Education brief and how collaborative learning will be developed at Oaklands School.

Every Friday a third of our Year 7&8 students take part in the Garden to Table Buddy Programme.

Over the next few newsletters we are going to unpack Numeracy Programme which is the basis of our Mathematics and Statistics programmes at Oaklands School.  

Student Led Conferences are on Monday and Tuesday the 5th and 6th December 2016. This is an opportunity to have your child share their learning and identify their next learning steps.  School will close at 2pm to enable teachers to organise times.

A reminder that students cannot be on the school grounds before 8.30am in the mornings.

Dates for your diary.

Any child leaving or arriving at school between 9am and 3pm must be signed out at the office.

With the large number of students unwell it is really important that you let the office know if your child will not be at school.

The purpose of our complaints policy is to provide clear guidelines for the school community in raising and resolving concerns and complaints.

Please respect our NO GO zones and times and be considerate of other students and their families.
