Any child leaving or arriving at school between 9am and 3pm must be signed out at the office.

A reminder that students cannot be on the school grounds before 8.30am in the mornings.

An important message about scooters at school.

The purpose of our complaints policy is to provide clear guidelines for the school community in raising and resolving concerns and complaints.

Please respect our NO GO zones and times and be considerate of other students and their families.  

With the large number of students unwell it is really important that you let the office know if your child will not be at school.

A wish for a safe, and happy, term break!

We invite you to take part in the exciting process of planning for the redesign of the learning spaces at  Oaklands School to meet the needs of our students now and into the future.

For the past 8 weeks a large number of Oaklands students have been involved in basketball sessions with members of the Canterbury Rams basketball team.

This term, Room 4 has been very busy improving on our Reading, Writing, Maths as well as learning about healthy food choices. On top of this, Room 4 has also been learning how to be responsible pet owners. Yes! Room 4 has PETS! Room 4 has two pet rats called Max and Jay Jay.

The Board of Trustee positions within all schools are up for Election in May 2016 for the next 3 year term. With this in mind we continue our series of information to help educate and inform our community about the Board's roles and responsibilities.

Attention parents and caregivers!

Today we celebrate the talented Ameila. Having taken up the sport of cricket only last year, Amelia has taken the local cricket scene by storm - as evidenced by her being the recipient of a number of awards at her recent cricket awards ceremony.

It seems that tennis is a popular sport played by a number of Oaklands students and today we celebrate the success of three of our senior students: Joseph Baxter, Jonathan Jun and Jack Hodgson.
