On Saturday the 22nd of May the PNBHS swimming team competed at the Manawatu Secondary School Championships held at the PNBHS pool.

The athletes were greeted in Foxton with a stiff westerly wind which was going to make running conditions testing along with some steep assents and descents.

It was a pleasure to welcome Old Boy and professional musician David Shanhun (1997 – 2001) to assembly earlier this term.

Involvement in co-curricular activities has many benefits for young men throughout their lives. However, it is important that our involvement in such activities is positive for everyone.

At school we discuss our expectations of our teams and our young men and it is important that these are supported at home and on the sidelines.
