In the spirited halls of Rāroa Normal Intermediate, the air is charged with anticipation as staff and students prepare for an epic showdown in a multi-sport extravaganza. Celebrating the school's commitment to both academics and athleticism, the event encompasses thrilling matches in hockey, football, basketball, and touch rugby.

FEES, DONATIONS & PAYMENTS

Although not extremely attractive having fencing all over the school. It is wonderful to have so much work going on to repair aging gutters and ensure that all our buildings are completely watertight so that we can have warm, comfortable classrooms and sheltered walkways.

Craft Beer and Quiz Night was a fun night and we've had heaps of positive feedback from guests. Thank you for getting behind this fundraiser. It's been fantastic to see the level of community support and we appreciate the manaakitanga.

The EPro8 Challenge is the inter-school science and engineering competition. Every year over 25,000 students from throughout New Zealand take part. Students participate in a series of events: firstly within their school and then inter-school. These events are designed to promote science, engineering and problem solving.

Four of our wonderful students gave up their Friday after-school time to lead a panel discussion at Victoria University.

On Monday the 20th November, the Senior Leadership Team presented the achievement and progress reports.

The library stocktake is done, we have closed the library at morning teas and lunchtimes as it is full of textbooks and devices and things are looking decidedly messy!

On Tuesday November 28th the China Sister School Ambassadors celebrated the year with a special trip to Babaili Restaurant in Johnsonville.

As part of the Ext(reme) Writers learning about using of sensory, descriptive and figurative language, they explored the many different landscapes of Otari-Wilton Bush.

Congratulations to Liv Jacobs (Rm 8), Florence Langford and Emma Strahan-Downes (Rm 6) for successes in the recent writing competitions.

Lilah Hawke and Lara Potter from Manawanui competed in the National Cheerleading Championship in Auckland last weekend.
