Arts Week 2020 has showcased the fabulous and talented Arts students that we have here at SMC, it has also served to highlight the diversity of the arts here at SMC - from Debating to Robot racing, Divas Concerts to outdoor Dance and Chalk Art to Chamber music to name just a few!

In our Service of Blessing at the start of September, we had two students who received their Academic Honours and their red blazer. They were Lauren Healy and Mya Laws. Congratulations must go to both girls on their mahi and māia.

SMC is delighted to once again invite all grandparents and special friends to join us to celebrate the importance of community and relationships across the generations at our Grandparents' Day on Friday 23 October.

There was all sorts of excitement Wednesday morning with silhouettes of bodies found around the school. There was a Cluedo style math task and Mrs Mitchell’s Level 3 Calculus class were the investigators.

On Saturday, August 31-19 Year 10, 11, and 12 girls entered the prestigious French exam DELF where their level of proficiency in listening, reading, writing and speaking French is tested.

30 SMC girls recently collected for the Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease street appeal at various localities across Christchurch. Well done girls!
