Last term, Room 9 students got lit on fire and turned into crazy scientists, conducting some exciting experiments!

As you will be aware there is impending strike/industrial action scheduled for a full day on Thursday 15th November.

Another year and another awesome Ski adventure for Tahuna students.

We have a new display in the foyer. To celebrate the successes of our highest achievers the Toroa Award was initiated last year. The first eight recipients were chosen to recognise their efforts in 2017. We have managed to catch up with three of last years students for a photo and would love to see all of last years recipients for a photo if possible.

This year was our first sports exchange with Oamaru Intermediate and what a success!

It's great that Otago Boys provide an opportunity for our footballers to play at Roberts Park against other Dunedin Year7 & Year 8 schools.

The Tahuna Football Team had a win against Oamaru Intermediate in our first ever sports exchange.

Every week at Tahuna budding skaters and scooter riders meet to ride, compete, impress and challenge each other with their tricks.

On the final Friday of term Isabella Arnold was the fully deserved recipient of this prestigious leadership award.

Students from Room 20 have the best time learning the skill of rock climbing.

Tahuna Normal Intermediate was the destination for Dunedin schools to participate in the Technology, Science and Engineering EPro8 Challenge on Thursday 26th July and Friday 27th July.

Congratulations to all the participants of the Tahuna Science Fair.

Rm 3, 6 and 14 had a trip to the physics department and the Otago Museum on Thursday week 8.
