Term 4 Table Tennis

Every Thursday chosen students from different schools around Dunedin gathered at Kaikorai Valley College to compete in the Dunedin Schools Table Tennis Competition. Approximately 60 students arrived at Kaikorai Valley and battled each other in exciting games of table tennis.

Armistice Day and Tahuna.

Rooms 13 and 14 represented Tahuna at this year's Armistice ceremony held at the cenotaph opposite Toitu. On the 11 hour of the 11 day of the 11 month 1918 World War 1 ceased.

Room 4 Hosts Mini World Cup

Room 4 students hosted 2 junior classes from Musselburgh primary school for a "Mini World Cup Tournament" based on stepping up and using our Tahuna values. Each group chose a country to represent and had to use their creativity to decide on a suitable activity to take responsibility for. Everyone was respectful to each other and we celebrated the successful afternoon with a medal presentation ceremony. A great learning experience for all involved.
