Strike Action School Closure - Thursday 16 March

The NZEI Union is currently negotiating with the government about resourcing, pay and conditions for teachers and principals. As a result of these negotiations the teachers and principals have made the decision to Strike on Thursday 16th March.

Pōhutukawa Top Team Challenge

Our Pōhutukawa Tamariki had an awesome afternoon on Friday 3rd March at the Top Team Challenge. Our tamariki worked in teams to master challenges. It was a great exercise in team building. Thank you to our Kaiako for facilitating this awesome experience and thank you to our parent volunteers for helping out on the stations!

E Tū Tāngata - Homegrown Heroes

Last Friday, we went to our first whole kura celebration assembly. It was wonderful to see our whole kura together celebrating the successes of each other and showing our school values (be kind, be respectful, be connected, be resilient, and be responsible) as well as our E Tū Tāngata mindset of 'I have value', 'Others Matter' and 'We succeed together'.

Colour Your Day - Friday 22nd March

Garden 2 Table

Absolutely wonderful to see our Garden from our Garden to Table programme celebrated in this years 'Green Fingers Galore' awards. Our resident gardener, Nicky O'Sullivan, has spent many hours in the garden with our students teaching them the importance of nurturing seeds so that they can grow into something splendid that we can eat! Congratulations Nicky and our tamariki, it is great to see your efforts recognised.
