We're establishing common areas of interest across our kāhui ako and then using our resources to strengthen ties between us.

The Early Interventions Project focused on engaging students and supporting them to feel better about being at school. A key part of the project was personally connecting with the student and closing the gap between them and their peers/teachers to improve learning and engagement outcomes early in the year.

The Avon Ōtākaro Network has secured a shared lease with The Avon Loop Planning Association (ALPA).

The Fast Path course involves young adult students - many of whom may have thought tertiary study was out of reach - undertaking an intensive integrated school-based course of Mathematics and Physics to prepare them for undergraduate study in Engineering and Product design at UC.

Providing students opportunities to learn beyond school and develop links to the local community is a key driver of the hybrid learning pilot at Hagley College for 2021.
