Aoraki Athletics

Recently we had team attend and take part in Aoraki Athletics held in Timaru. It was a perfect day for athletics and great conditions for athletes. 

We had a number of top 4 placings, which can be seen below. 

• Erica Lucas - 2nd U19 100m, 200m, 3rd Long Jump
• Ellie Craig - 1st U19 Javelin, Shot Put, 4th Discus
• Jayden Stevens - 3rd U19 1500m & 3000m
• Jacob Booth - 4th U19 Discus & Javelin
• Sam Hobart - 3rd U16 400m & Triple Jump
• Oliver Pankhurst - 1st U16 Discus, 4th Shot Put
• Jonty Charles - 2nd U14 400m
• Zaylee Davis - 1st U14 100m, 200m, Long Jump, 
• Briar Craig -3rd U14 Javelin, 1st Triple Jump 
• Sammy Hill - 4th U14 Javelin, 4X100m Relay
• Emily Heeren - 2nd U14 1500m, 3rd 3000m

• Emily Heeren, Sammy Hill, Briar Craig, Zaylee Davis were 1st in the U14 4X100m girls relay. 
• Jayla Davis, Antonie Sceglinskas, Ellie Craig, Erica Lucas were 3rd U19 4x100m girls relay.

A big thank you to Kelly Charles, Rach Lucas and Rose Bell who attended as officials for the day and to Ms Tagiaia who supported all out athletes as team manager.
