Our 2018 Open Evening is being held on Wednesday 1st August at 6pm, meeting in the college hall.

The exchange takes place this year from August 17th-20th.

Our staff are participating in professional development around restorative practices. Students return to school for term three on Tuesday 24th July.

On Friday 6th July, a touring team of under 14 boys from the Canberra Vikings in Australia came to visit the college during their tour of New Zealand.

On Friday 6th July, Domino Youth Casting Team auditioned students aged 14 - 18 for starring roles in a New Zealand feature film being shot in Wellington this year.

On the last day of term two the team participating in the annual Iron Maori held a hangi fundraiser.

Paolo Mura, Guilluame Lesne, Emma Arnold, Seraina Gamma and Ilenia Armiento were presented with parting gifts from staff and students as well as a school haka.

On Monday 2nd July, Birgit Moffatt, a felt artist from Otaki came in to run a workshop with some of our Art students for a community installation art piece.

The camp will run from Monday 9th July through to Monday 16th July at Napier Boys High School and for the first time, all players attending the camp will play against the Blues U18 camp teams on Sunday 15th July.

The students are building a small cabin from scratch, as part of an NCEA assessment.

On Friday 29th June, a group of 20 students attended the event at Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom, sponsored by Paranui Marae.

On Thursday 28th June the annual competition took place in the Gym.

Year 9 Homeroom 9FH set off for Wellington on Wednesday 27th June for their annual, three day Amazing Race Mathematics trip.

On Friday 8th June rock band Fusion, consisting of year 13 student Justin Jurgens and younger brother Brad, competed in the Smokefree Rockquest regional finals at the Globe Theater in Palmerston North.

Gateway is a great way to develop work-readiness and gain an understanding of the different jobs available in the community.

On Wednesday 6th June the Senior Health and P.E class headed down to Wellington to complete the Adrenalin Forest high ropes course. The purpose of the high ropes course was to test how well the students could demonstrate interpersonal skills.
