Te Tahi have been busy learning New Zealand Sign Language with Claire Hamilton.

This year some of Bluestone's Yr 5-8 students have been involved in a project of building the new Scott Base in Minecraft

Earlier in the term the High Flyers visited the museum as part of our NZ Histories topic studies.

An amazing group of speakers wowed us with their fabulous opinions based on a variety of set topics as set out by the Lion's Speech Contest.

A great day was had for our Think Tank ice skating trip. The weather was perfect and the students really enjoyed it! Check out the photo's below.

Congratulations to both Flynn and Sione who will represent South Canterbury for rugby. Flynn O'Sullivan made the Under 13 SC Rugby Team and Sione Tusani made the U12 SC Rugby Team. The boys will play games over the next 2 weekends against Mid Canterbury. Well done boys' and good luck with your games.

Our School Board have confirmed we will have out of zone places available across all year levels for a start date within Term 1, Tuesday 31 January - Thursday 06 April 2023.

There was a lot of anticipation about our postponement date, the weather forecast didn't look great but we went and it was a fantastic day!

After a two year break we can finally host another Book Fair and some book fun.
