On 9th of August at 7:30pm 3 years 7 and 8 teams from Bluestone school competed at the Aoraki maths competition in the Timaru Boys High Hall.

After a two year break we can finally host another Book Fair and some book fun.

Team Te Tahi and Creative Creatures are learning about Home Safety.

Room 21 has been learning how to weave flax as part of the High Flyers art rotation on Thursday afternoon.

Room 7 are delighted to spend time with their buddies from Room 21. They have settled together so well and are looking very forward to their "together" times every couple of weeks.

The High Flyers pod our Year 5 and 6 team have begun rotating around the classes this term with a focus on Performing Arts: Dance and Drama along with implementing Te Ao Māori and Gymnastics.

We have started our after school Pasifika Group and we are really enjoying the enthusiasm and dedication of our ākonga.

Basketball is back for Term 3 Week 8 until Term 4 Week 9!

Well done to Caitlin Charles who competed in the recent Gymnastic Canterbury Junior Championships. She was very successful in achieving four medals at this competition. She got Silver on the beam, Bronze for the floor, Bronze for the fault and a Gold for coming first overall! Great effort, Caitlin!

Congratulations to Blake Hollamby and Harper Parker who have made it into the Under 13 South Canterbury Basketball A and B Teams. They will be competing in Three Tournaments this year. We wish them both the best of luck.
